Hi everyone, sorry haven't been around for a few days, hope you are all as well as can be expected.
Update - I feel much brighter within myself, am not relying heavily on my stick these last couple of days (am in week 3 of humira use), have been able to undertake a short walk without too much bother, and last but not least, my ankles are back! For me, humira is proving to be a slow release drug - fingers crossed (well I may be able to soon) slowly but surely this wretched disease will be under control. There have been no major side effects, but I do get a loss of feeling/tingling/numbing sensation in my hands, more so in the right than the left and more prevalent in little and ring fingers. Aim to have a chat with rheumy nurse on Monday about this - have to go to the hospital for bloods so will do this then.
Jackie - I think if this works for us we might just be able to enjoy our summer - I am sincerely hoping humira brings you some relief at least. My wish is that when I go to Spain late August, I will be able to play with my son.
I need to catch up on all posts, so catch you all later.
